GlassPro System Description and Specifications The SystemGrinding glass bottles is an easy task that many companies have mastered. What sets the GlassPro system apart from all the others is the fact that our grinder processes the waste glass in such a way that it can be cleaned and sold for many useful products. We make this possible due entirely to our proprietary crushing mechanism. This process grinds glass using a high speed rotating hammer configuration that clips the glass between two adjustable wear plates. This action not only clips the glass cleanly making no sharp edges but it also strips paper off of bottles allowing for easy separation. Most other glass pulverizing systems grind the paper and the glass to about the same size making the separation process nearly impossible.
The GlassPro system has also shown great results in the grinding of windshield glass due to the same concept used with bottle glass. The rotor clips and strips the glass from the laminate found between the two sections of glass making for two salable products. The
GlassPro glass pulverizing system can be supplied in
many sizes and configurations depending on the amount of glass you
want to process and on the size of the end product you wish to achieve.
The glass pulverizer has an infinite number of settings to provide
almost any size product. The standard system set to output -10 mesh
product has a production rate of 5 tons per hour. When you set the
system to output this size product you can attain fines as small as
-1000 mesh. You can also set the equipment to output larger sizes
if necessary: in this case the production rate increases. The 5 ton per hour glass fines system consists of the following:
