The
Glass Recycling Group (GRG) has created a glass grinding system that
can be utilized by any of the hundreds of MRFs across the country.
This system, built by Prodeva, cost-effectively produces finely ground
glass (fines) that are virtually contaminant-free. Prodeva will provide
a complete, turn-key glass recycling operation. Project managers,
engineers, designers and technicians will support the installation
and operation of the machine at your location.

Uses For Contaminant-Free Glass Fines
End
uses for the type of ground waste glass that our system produces can
be classified into two broad categories: products that utilize small
amounts of glass as a replacement for their basic composition, and
products which use glass as the primary material in their basic composition.
Until
now, the expense of grinding waste glass into a contaminate free,
or a fine material, coupled with the cost of transporting the glass
to end users, made accessing these markets, for the most part, prohibitive.
By setting up at MRFs which are in close proximity to end users, and
employing unique processes which remove contaminates and produce fines,
we are making these markets viable.
The
Outlook
We
look at glass recycling differently. We focus on the consumer of ground
waste glass, and we are committed to moving glass recycling forward
- lowering costs, increasing efficiency, and providing an income to
MRF's and other glass recyclers. We finally make glass recycling feasible
and profitable.
